Learn how to properly operate any single vehicle with a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of 26,001 lbs. or more, or any such vehicle(s) towing a vehicle less than 10,000 lbs. Operators with a Class B license, are permitted to operate (with any appropriate endorsements and/or permits) all vehicles within class C.

During your Class B training, you will operate a 6-speed, 24-foot box truck to prepare you for local and regional entry-level CDL B positions. Students will receive hands-on, one-on-one training from our certified driving instructors who, combined, have more than 70 years of truck driving experience.


Students must complete a minimum of 74 hours of training as outlined below.

50 hours of classroom training, 40 hours led by our certified instructors and 10 hours of independent study.

10 hours of lab training to include but not limited to pre-trip inspection, identifying hazards, maintenance and securing cargo.

15 hours of behind the wheel training to include 10 hours of range driving and 5 hours on the road.
